Kids Teaching Kids Conference is going virtual!

The Kids Teaching Kids conferences have been held around Australia for the last 21 years and we are thrilled to announce a 2x day Kids Teaching Kids Virtual Conference for 2021.

Participant safety is our highest priority and we adhere to all advice provided by National and Victorian Chief Health Officers authorities inclusive of following COVID-safe guidelines and Department of Education regulations.

The virtual conference offers student-produced workshops and performances, educational resources and links to lesson plans from Earthwatch Australia and Kids Teaching Kids partners. With kids in the driver's seat, there will be interactive school challenges, environmental ambassador keynote speakers, in-school legacy projects and inspirational student emcees. Kids Teaching Kids are on a mission to support and connect our national community of young learners this year and in to the future. The virtual platform has been developed, so that students can raise their voice and inspire behaviour change, whilst they teach our wider Australian community about their own vision to save our natural world.

The 15th Melbourne Kids Teaching Kids Conference will allow students to look at a whole catchment of environmental issues. This event will also allow for the development of cross-state and cross-curriculum materials, processes, presentation materials and networks of professionals and teachers interested in environmental education and natural resource management in general.
