ClimateWatch Program Coordinator

A strong advocate for environmental stewardship and social empowerment, Luke is deeply passionate about reshaping our collective understanding and appreciation of the natural world. Having previously worked as an engineer and project manager, Luke has pivoted his career to align with this outlook. He has since gained management experience in the social enterprise sector with a focus on waste recycling, climate science, behaviour change and community education.

Complementing this hands-on experience with a Masters of Environment & Sustainability, Luke has developed a detailed understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals and the complex challenges society faces today. His interests in systems theory and the trophic effects of climate change led him to complete collaborative research into soil heath within the context of landscape scale conservation and ecosystem restoration. Now coordinating the delivery of the Climatewatch program, Luke looks forward to driving public understanding of climate science and the importance of phenology in both environmental and social contexts.
